May 24, 2007, Needham Capital Partners invest $1.2 million in SpaceClaim Corporation
On May 24, 2007 Needham Capital Partners invested $1.2 million in SpaceClaim Corporation, which is developing breakthrough technology that expands 3D use beyond the dedicated product designer. Founded by an exceptional team of industry veterans, SpaceClaim provides a personal 3D productivity tool that empowers engineers in the product development process to contribute to, consume, or share mechanical designs in a digital form.

March 14, 2007, Consona Corporation (formerly known as M2M Holdings, Inc.) completes acquisition of Knova, Inc.
On March 14, 2007,  Knova was acquired by Consona Corporation (Consona, formerly known as M2M Holdings, Inc.), the privately held holding company jointly owned by Battery Ventures and Thoma Cressey Bravo.  The all-cash transaction announced in December 2006 was valued at $5.00 per share, or approximately $47 million.  With the close of this transaction, Knova completed its transformation to a private company after being publicly traded on the OTC Bulletin Board under the KNVS symbol since May 2005.  In 2005, KNOVA launched its new identity following the merger of ServiceWare Technologies, a respected industry veteran in Knowledge Management (KM) for customer support, and Kanisa, Inc., the technology pioneer of Service Resolution management (SRM).  Click here for the press release.

March 1, 2007, IBM completes acquisition of Softek Storage Solutions, Inc.
March 1, 2007, IBM (NYSE: IBM) announced that it completed its acquisition of Softek, a privately held company based in Vienna, Virginia. Softek will become part of the Storage and Data Services business unit in IBM Global Technology Services.  IBM will integrate Softek's data mobility technology and best practices with IBM's methods and expertise in storage and data services.  Click here for the press release.
